WelcomePew
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
WelcomePew ("we," "us," "our") builds and operates websites and digital welcome/follow-up tools for churches and ministries. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We respect that the information people share with a church is personal, and we treat it accordingly.
Information we collect
- Information you give us — when you submit a form (e.g., a connect card, "plan your visit," contact, or giving form), we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, and any message or prayer request you choose to share.
- Automatic information — basic, privacy-respecting analytics (e.g., pages visited) to improve the site. We decline non-essential cookies by default.
How we use your information
- To respond to you and follow up after a visit or inquiry.
- To send you communications you've asked for (welcome messages, event and service information, and updates) by email and, where you've consented, text message.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our services.
SMS / text messaging terms
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages (such as welcome, follow-up, event, and informational messages) from the church or ministry you connected with, sent via WelcomePew.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.
- We do not sell your information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information is used only to deliver the messages you signed up for.
How we share information
We share your information only with the church or ministry you connected with, and with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, messaging and email delivery, hosting, and analytics) under agreements that require them to protect it. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP; unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us.
Data security & retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Children
Our services are directed to churches and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
